Mike McDaniel warned fantasy managers that Hampton will not be a workhorse despite breakout expectations in his second year with the Chargers. McDaniel stated "There's good news and bad news, fantasy owners. Good news is I see all three of those guys producing at a very high level. The bad news is I can't tell you which games those are." McDaniel prefers rotating backs for freshness as a competitive advantage and will "use all three of those guys probably every game" with ratios based on opponent and game plan. While McDaniel acknowledged Hampton will have "a ton of touches," the rotation approach with Keaton Mitchell and Kimani Vidal limits his ceiling.
