Bridgewater retires after decade-long battle with 2016 knee injury complications.

Bridgewater officially retired from the NFL after 10 seasons following his devastating 2016 knee injury during Vikings training camp. He cited ongoing physical limitations from the injury, stating his knee 'doesn't recover the same way it did years ago' and that 'this wheel of mine can no longer deal with something so simple as standing around on the turf field,' prompting him to step away to be available for his children.
