Taylor was the fantasy RB4 in points per game, but from Week 12 onwards, he was the RB21... If you're that vulnerable to poor quarterback play, do you deserve to be drafted with the third overall pick... this is too rich for Taylor.

Taylor RB21 from Week 12 on; too vulnerable to poor QB play for top-three pick.

Jonathan Taylor is a tough fade at 1.04 despite leading all players in playoff advance rate (66.8%), meaning drafting him gave a two-in-three chance of making the playoffs. However, that wasn't the whole story: Taylor was the fantasy RB4 in points per game but from Week 12 onwards was the RB21, with an explosive run rate of 0.7% (41st), ranking 36th in yards after contact and scoring only three rushing touchdowns. Much of this inefficiency came amid quarterback turmoil as Daniel Jones got beaten up and eventually tore his achilles. The source questions whether Taylor deserves a top-three pick when his quarterback is coming off an achilles injury and is also named Daniel Jones, calling the price too rich.
