Drafted 34th overall in 2025, Higgins entered the NFL as an exciting prospect with a 9.63 RAS score, touted as an ace ball-tracker with expansive catch radius. He finished his rookie campaign third on the team in targets behind Nico Collins and Dalton Schultz with 68 looks and six touchdowns (matching Collins). Higgins stepped up when Collins was sidelined, recording either 10 looks or scoring in Weeks 8, 18 and the divisional round.
