No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza will make his preseason debut Thursday vs. the Cardinals and will get "plenty of experience in the game," according to Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak. There is a chance Mendoza will take snaps with the first-team offensive line. Kubiak noted Mendoza has had "a really impressive training camp" and has done "a good job of adjusting" when plays don't execute as drawn up, though live pass rush will present "a whole 'nother animal."
