Hurts is looking like a viable dual threat again after a lighter training camp day where he executed designed runs multiple times and moved well; a team source noted he looks "quicker and faster." After averaging nearly 700 rushing yards per season from 2021 to 2024, production dipped to 421 yards last year, but based on early observations, the source expects Hurts to get to open space more often than last season when he averaged around 6.5 rushing attempts. The tush push remains part of the offense with new coordinator Sean Mannion calling it "extremely effective."
