Clear-cut RB1 for the Bengals with complete trust of Joe Burrow, who praised him saying 'He's taken a leap every single year, and that's been exciting to watch. I can't say enough good things about him.' The Bengals are expanding Brown's offensive role with new slot usage; ESPN's Ben Solak noted multiple snaps of Brown lined up in the slot flying across the formation in jet motion as a receiver, with 45 snaps in the slot and 25 out wide last season. Brown had four of five receiving touchdowns in 2025 with Burrow at QB, two of which came from out-wide alignment, demonstrating the Bengals' preference to use him as a pass catcher rather than pass protector.
