Hassan Haskins, a 26-year-old veteran of 44 NFL games with 76 carries for 229 yards, 18 catches for 119 yards, and three touchdowns in his career, was signed by the Patriots ahead of the preseason opener. He joins a crowded backfield depth chart that includes Rhamondre Stevenson, TreVeyon Henderson, Terrell Jennings, Lan Larison, and Jam Miller. Haskins has prior familiarity with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and running backs coach Tony Dews from his time with the Titans, and was most recently with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2025.
