Davis enters 2026 as a backup RB on a Bills roster with James Cook as the lead back. After a solid rookie campaign as the second back, Davis was a nonfactor on offense in 2025, recording just 58 rushes for 275 yards and 10 receptions for 86 yards with two touchdowns across the season; his only double-digit carry game was a blowout win over the Jets in which starters were rested (21 carries, 151 yards, 2 receptions, 1 TD). Cook's career year in 2025 limited Davis' opportunities, keeping him on the field for close to 60% of offensive snaps. Davis wants a bigger role in 2026 and has proven capable of handling the majority of backfield duties in short bursts, but his upside is constrained by playing alongside one of the NFL's best running backs.
