Daniels was far better than both of them as rookies, and better than arguably any other rookie quarterback in NFL history. Last season was rough, but plenty of that can be blamed on injuries. If Daniels stays healthy and plays at his elite level from two seasons ago, we already know the Commanders' potential.

Daniels was far better than both Caleb Williams and Drake Maye as rookies two seasons ago, and better than arguably any other rookie quarterback in NFL history. If he stays healthy and plays at his elite level from that season, the Commanders' potential is already proven; a rebound combined with a new defense could result in a playoff berth and contention for an NFC East title.
