Lemon's extended absence has allowed Dontayvion Wicks, Elijah Moore, and Darius Cooper to leapfrog him on the depth chart. These receivers have developed chemistry with Jalen Hurts, grown comfortable in the new offense, earned coach trust, and made play after play. Even before the injury, Lemon wasn't flashing, and Wicks, Moore, and Cooper have been outstanding without missing a rep. It would be surprising if Lemon earns the WR2 role by the opener; he has a lot of work to do in a short period of time to make up for missed time.
