fantasyfootball on Garrett Wilson

RedditThe Jets are looking for “a sizable jump” from Adonai Mitchell.August 12, 2026

From the thread

Multiple comments reference Wilson as primary WR; one: 'They drafted two pass catchers in the first round and already have Garrett Wilson. That should tell you how much confidence the Jets have in AD Mitchell becoming a WR2.' Another: 'If GW gets double coverages, expect Mitchell to be open and get targets.'

Positive signalRole

Established as Jets WR1; Mitchell's upside contingent on Wilson's target share and health. Wilson got injured last year, creating temporary opportunity for Mitchell. When healthy, Wilson will command primary receiving volume, limiting Mitchell's ceiling.
