The Seattle Times Seahawks on Cooper Kupp

Kupp looks like camp's best player; age concerns appear unfounded so far.

Kupp, who turned 33 in June and accepted a WR2 role last season with Smith-Njigba's emergence, has looked like the best player on the field in camp and did so again Friday. He caught a 5-yard third-down TD, had about a 45-yard gain on a slant from Darnold, and got about a 25-yard gain against Devon Witherspoon. In one-on-one receiver/defensive back drills against Witherspoon, Kupp made the catch both times, including one where he snatched the ball away despite Witherspoon being draped all over him.
