Third-round rookie tight end Eli Raridon has been one of the more positive surprises of training camp. Raridon has been the top tight end behind Hunter Henry and has often shared the field with the veteran in 12 personnel looks with Drake Maye under center. Quarterback Maye praised him: 'He is a big dude, first off, that can run. I mean, that's pretty cool, and he is smart.' Raridon's frame makes him a QB-friendly target while his athleticism threatens defenses up the seam or running across the middle. His skillset has made him a weapon in New England's play-action passing game, though his run-game work will be monitored Thursday to determine pass-catching opportunities.
