Coleman actually filled in for Tunsil a few times down the stretch last year and held up relatively well. In the run game, I think Coleman will be absolutely fine. His pass protection was inconsistent, often flashing some nice moves but frequently mixed in some poor reps too.

With Laremy Tunsil injured, Brandon Coleman shifts to left tackle. Coleman filled in for Tunsil a few times down the stretch in 2024 and held up relatively well. In the run game, Coleman showed he was a strong run blocker and has the athleticism to play the Commanders' expected outside zone scheme to a high level. However, his pass protection was inconsistent as a rookie left tackle in 2024, flashing nice moves but frequently mixing in poor reps.
