WR Lambert-Smith leads with four first-half catches; Harbaugh impressed with separation.

Wide receiver had game-high four receptions in first half of preseason opener against Houston for 58 yards. Coach Jim Harbaugh was pleased with the separation Lambert-Smith created. Lambert-Smith said he felt he played fast, executed, and played physical. He would have had significantly more yards but for a pass that slipped through his hands on a deep ball where he beat rookie corner Collin Wright but the pass from Trey Lance was slightly underthrown.
