With the Eagles' receiver room undergoing a major makeover since the end of 2025, Cooper is in line for an expanded role in 2026. DeVonta Smith will remain the top receiver and trade acquisition Dontayvion Wicks is likely to begin the season as WR2, with rookie Makai Lemon eventually seeing the field. However, Lemon has missed valuable time, and there might be extra snaps early in the season available to Cooper.
