Lane has become the Steven Smith of offseason practices. In 27 years of covering the Ravens, I'm not sure I've seen a rookie have a training camp quite like wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane. At 6'4, Lane profiles as an outside, X receiver. That's exactly what the Ravens need to complement Zay Flowers.

Lane is the talk of Baltimore training camp, producing highlight-making catches daily and drawing comparisons to Steven Smith Sr. for his offseason dominance. The 6'4 outside receiver profiles as the X receiver the Ravens need to complement Zay Flowers. Though he wasn't a big-time producer at USC (745 yards, four scores in 2025), he was competing with first-rounder Makai Lemon for targets. His ADP has risen 32 spots in Best Ball, but he will likely go much later in redraft formats.
