Thomas's elite rookie class and deep-ball skills suggest sixth-round value.

Thomas is part of an elite rookie class; only Randy Moss, Ja'Marr Chase, Odell Beckham, Brian Thomas, and Mike Evans have posted 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns as rookies since 1990. Despite disappointing returns relative to his 1-2 turn ADP last year, Matt Harmon argues that for Thomas to be useless in fantasy after that rookie pedigree would be surprising. Last year was disappointing relative to draft cost but not actually bad in absolute terms. If Thomas taps back into rookie form, sixth-round investment returns will be substantial.
