Rookie Jonah Coleman proved tonight that he deserves touches early and often this season. He only had 4 carries for 24 yards, but in those limited touches, Coleman showcased a good burst, vision, balance, and power and simply looked like a damn good running back. Sean Payton told reporters after the Broncos' first preseason game that Coleman has had a good camp. I liked his balance coming out of some of the tackles

Rookie Jonah Coleman proved he deserves touches early and often this season. In just 4 carries for 24 yards, Coleman showcased good burst, vision, balance, and power. Head coach Sean Payton told reporters after the game that Coleman has had a good camp and liked his balance coming out of tackles. The source believes Coleman should be the Broncos' RB2 and split carries with RJ Harvey, as he is far superior to Harvey when running between the tackles. Coleman entered behind Harvey but the Broncos showed belief in his future by rotating him in early.
