Fullback Adam Prentice was productive as the Broncos' short-yardage back, scoring a one-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and leading the way for ball carriers who had success running the ball. Head coach Sean Payton told reporters at halftime that 'We believe in the fullback,' reinforcing Prentice's importance to the team. Prentice, who originally started with the Broncos and returned after time with the Saints, is used as a short-yardage runner, pass catcher, pass blocker, and special teams contributor.
