Brandon Hayes waived after failing to stick in crowded Eagles WR room

Undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver Brandon Hayes was waived by the Eagles to make room for linebacker Brandon George. Hayes faced a stacked WR room in Philadelphia and was the first casualty; he originally signed in May, was released in June, re-signed in early August, but could not hold a roster spot. He may bounce on-and-off the roster in coming weeks and could land on the practice squad after final cuts.
