It's possible that what we saw from Shough last year was a mirage, but I'm willing to buy in at his current price tag. He's merely QB20 in terms of fantasy ADP across the industry.

Shough at QB20 ADP has top-5 upside with improved weapons and typical year-two progression.

Shough is a dark-horse candidate to finish as a top-5 fantasy QB at a bargain ADP of QB20. After taking over as Saints starter last season, he averaged 7.6 adjusted yards per attempt, 250+ passing yards per game, 10 touchdown passes, and three touchdown runs, finishing QB9 overall (QB12 in points per game) and QB5 over his final five games. The Saints added Jordyn Tyson (ninth overall pick, considered most talented receiver in draft class) and signed Travis Etienne, improving the offense. QBs typically make their biggest statistical jumps between first and second seasons, and while Shough isn't a top prospect, progression should be expected.
