He looked like a Week 1 starter and has this offense down already. His first two possessions were an 11-play drive for 78 yards and a 10-play drive for 75 yards. Both ended in touchdowns. He used Love as both a runner and a short-gain receiver, and it worked. Nice 9-yard toss to WR Jalen Brooks, plus the touchdown thrown to WR Simi Fehoko, was on the money. Minshew hit Brooks again in the second drive for 14 and 10 yards, like the pair were college teammates. Then Minshew came out of the halftime tunnel and guided the team to a 10-play drive that ended in three points. Final outing: three drives, 17 points.
