Stribling, the second-round receiver out of Mississippi, extended his strong training camp work with seven catches for 63 yards while running with the 49ers starters. Kyle Shanahan praised both his sure hands and physicality. With Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel Sr. needing assistance after Ricky Pearsall was lost for the season, Stribling is expected to play an important role in providing Brock Purdy with much-needed receiving support.
