Fields was, in many ways, the star of the offense for the Giants. He was on the field for 21 of the Giant's 67 offensive plays. Fields plays faster than he timed at the Scouting Combine, however he's still more of a 'quicker than fast' receiver.

Wide receiver was the star of the Giants offense, playing 21 of 67 offensive snaps (plus 5 special teams plays). Fields plays faster than his Combine time suggests, though he's more "quicker than fast" and somewhat plodding unless opening his stride; he has impressive short-area quickness for a big receiver and excellent ball skills with strong hands and a massive catch radius. The Giants made deliberate effort to involve him as a blocker, putting him in motion and bringing him to play-side; he uses his size effectively against defensive backs and blocks with good competitive toughness. Quarterback Jaxson Dart praised his competitiveness: "He loves the game, he competes through the whistle. You see that in the way that not only he runs his routes but also the way that he blocks."
