The Miami Dolphins announced the re-signing of quarterback Mark Gronowski on Sunday, nine days after he had been waived by the team. The Colts hosted Gronowski for a tryout on Saturday before he returned to South Florida.

Gronowski was re-signed by the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, nine days after being waived on August 7. The undrafted free agent from Iowa (transferred from South Dakota State) had previously been tried out by the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday before returning to Miami. He threw for 1,751 yards in 13 games with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions at Iowa in 2025, and holds the NCAA record with 58 combined victories as a starting quarterback across South Dakota State and Iowa.
