Loveland was the first player his new head coach drafted after taking the job, a real signal of investment even though tight end wasn't viewed as a pressing need. Once given a full workload late in his rookie season, he commanded a target share and per-game production that would have made him a true elite tight end over that stretch, including leading his own team in receiving yards as a rookie tight end, a genuinely rare feat. With a real chance to run a full route tree all season this year, especially given injury uncertainty at receiver behind him, there's a strong case he's a legitimate value one to two tiers below where his actual talent belongs. The Bears barely sneak into the top 10 in implied team totals, but their defense looks bad enough on paper that this offense could be forced into a shootout style all season.
