Odell Beckham Jr. ran a seam route and got open on a deep route in Saturday's preseason game against Minnesota, but quarterback Jameis Winston did not throw to him. Head coach John Harbaugh defended Winston's decision, noting Winston was under immediate pressure from two rushers and was looking to his left where he completed a hot read instead. Harbaugh characterized the controversy as "much to do about not much," explaining that receivers cannot expect the ball when the quarterback is not looking their direction.
