He is not threatening the primary tight end spots (Chig Okonkwo, Ben Sinnott, John Bates) but is making a strong case for a four-tight-end game-day roster in specific offensive packages where his speed and receiving ability create matchup problems. Splitting out wide next to Okonkwo creates a coverage problem most base defenses cannot handle.
