Armstrong leads Chiefs offensive snaps with 41, impresses as pass catcher.

Wide receiver Andrew Armstrong led all Chiefs players in offensive snaps with 41, tying quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, and added 5 special teams snaps. Armstrong made a strong impression in camp as a pass catcher and took advantage of his first live contact opportunity in the preseason game. He made a nice catch and turned up the sideline, appeared to have a step on a deep pass toward the back of the end zone, and showed effective blocking when called upon, not wasting his reps.
