Braelon Allen was the next man up after Breece Hall in preseason week 1 and made the most out of his snaps, ripping off a 31-yard touchdown run that highlighted nice footwork and speed for a man his size. This was a nice data point for Allen, though Isaiah Davis (knee) was sidelined, so it's still too early to definitively call the 22-year-old the clear handcuff behind Hall.
