Luke Altmyer had a rough scrimmage with the reserves; he opened with an overthrow after a blitz from Rakestraw, then sailed a pass over Tay Martin on third-and-10. Later, he forced a pass over the middle that Rakestraw and Christian Izien intercepted. Altmyer also had another overthrow after a blitz from Rakestraw, and on drive 10, he couldn't get a screen pass over the rushing edge, resulting in a pick-six by Eric O'Neill. He did have some successful plays, including a 12-yard gain to Cunningham and a check-down to Jabari Small for nine yards.
