Thomas Jr. was a 2025 bust; expect downfield role and WR3/4 floor in 2026.
Brian Thomas Jr. was one of the biggest busts of the 2025 season, dealing with a high ankle sprain and shoulder issue that derailed his rookie-year promise. Once healthy, Jakobi Meyers' arrival relegated Thomas to a field-stretching role. In Weeks 13-18, he posted only two top-24 outings with 14.9% target share, 18.1 aDOT, 47.8 receiving yards per game, 1.65 yards per route run, three red zone targets, and 20.6% first-read share. With the passing attack and receiver depth chart composition, he won't return to alpha-level usage and will fill a downfield role with massive week-to-week volatility. He's a WR3/4 best suited for best-ball formats.
