Christian McCaffrey missed the last week of practice due to tightness, not a contract dispute as some speculated. Kyle Shanahan refuted the contract dispute rumors and said McCaffrey would've practiced if it were a game week: "I think if it wasn't Christian and we were in a game week, I think he would play today." Shanahan indicated McCaffrey could return as soon as Saturday's next practice.
