Tate's rookie upside limited by Ward's poor play and Robinson target competition.

Despite first-round draft capital and likely entering the season as the Titans' WR1, Tate faces significant headwinds. Cam Ward ranked 24th among 25 QBs (min. 300 pass attempts) in catchable pass rate (75 percent) last season, and his 23.9 percent pressure-to-sack rate ranked third-highest, as he took far too many drive-killing sacks to lead to sustained offensive success, which inevitably hurts the upside of pass-catchers. Tate also has to compete with Wan'Dale Robinson for targets, further complicating his case for a strong rookie season.
