Hogs Haven on Tyrone Tracy

Tracy's pass protection failure led to unprotected QB hit in preseason.

Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. failed in a critical pass protection assignment during preseason, drifting too far right and then slipping when trying to reverse course. Vikings safety Jay Ward sprinted toward QB Jaxson Dart and leveled him as a result. Giants coach John Harbaugh said, 'There's no way he should have been hit there. It just shouldn't have happened,' indicating the protection breakdown was entirely on Tracy.
