Wolf Trelles-Heard expects McConkey to disappoint after a promising rookie campaign; in Year 2, his catches fell by 16, his receiving yards dropped by 360, and he scored one fewer touchdown despite playing the same number of games. His 11.3 fantasy points per game were good for only WR34, yet he's being drafted as the WR19 on average. The Chargers have signaled they want to play heavier sets by bringing in multiple tight ends and signing former Pro Bowl fullback Alec Ingold, which could hurt McConkey, who ran the second-most slot snaps in football last year. Trelles-Heard prefers Jaylen Waddle, David Montgomery, Tyler Warren, or D'Andre Swift instead.
