Big Blue View on Malik Nabers

Nabers sidelined from joint practice and preseason; ACL recovery progressing gradually.

Nabers is on the comeback trail from a pair of surgeries to repair a torn ACL and has just begun participating in a handful of team drills this week while wearing a red, non-contact jersey. He will travel with the Giants to Miami but won't take part in team drills on Thursday or play in Saturday's preseason game. Giants head coach John Harbaugh indicated Nabers will need to get bumped around and hit in controlled practice settings before exposing him to defenders on other teams, and he won't remain in a red jersey through the rest of the summer before playing in a game.
