Being drafted as the RB8 with an ADP in the teens, Walker is certainly one of the riskier picks on the board. It's the highest price drafters have ever paid for Walker now that he's away from Seattle, where he had to share the backfield. He received a hefty contract from the Chiefs in free agency and the consensus is that Walker will see an expanded role with Patrick Mahomes returning from reconstructive knee surgery. While that's all well and good, this is still the same Chiefs team that routinely leads the league in pass rate over expected and has always used multiple running backs under Andy Reid.

Walker's RB8 ADP is too high given his career production and scheme.

Walker is being drafted as RB8 with an ADP in the teens, the highest price drafters have ever paid for him now that he's away from Seattle. While the Chiefs signed him to a hefty contract and consensus expects an expanded role with Patrick Mahomes returning from knee surgery, the Chiefs routinely lead the league in pass rate over expected and use multiple running backs under Andy Reid. Walker has never run for 1,100 yards or 300 receiving yards in a season; he scored 29 touchdowns in four years with Seattle while Josh Jacobs scored 28 in the last two seasons and goes two rounds later. Saquon Barkley, Chase Brown, Derrick Henry, and De'Von Achane should all be easy clicks ahead of Walker.
