Buffalo Rumblings on Gabriel Davis

Davis' second ACL tear to same knee makes another reunion unlikely but not impossible.

Davis suffered a devastating knee injury during the 2024 season with tears to his meniscus and PCL, and was brought back by Buffalo on the practice squad in 2025 while recovering. He eventually made the active roster and provided a spark to the receivers, but his return ended abruptly against Jacksonville in the playoffs when he endured a devastating hit to the same knee, resulting in a torn ACL. After being placed on Injured Reserve in January, Davis wasn't retained in the offseason. At age 27, if eventually healthy enough, bringing him back could prove beneficial, but it remains a massive risk given the injury timetable. His market value with Spotrac is $1.6 million, and the reunion likelihood depends heavily on medical evaluation results.
