Davis endured a devastating hit to the same knee he injured in 2024 during a playoff game against Jacksonville, resulting in a torn ACL. After being placed on Injured Reserve in January, Davis wasn't retained this past offseason. The question now is where Davis is at in his recovery and if his knee will allow him to continue playing in the NFL. Davis is still only 27 years old, and if eventually healthy enough, bringing him back could prove beneficial, but it remains a massive risk. Spotrac lists his market value at $1.6 million. Despite his injury history, Davis has a strong rapport with the team's current regime, and it likely comes down to his knee.
