Martinez took over for Brock Purdy in the third quarter and struggled early, forcing a three-and-out on the Chargers' opening drive of the half. He was later pressured by Nadame Tucker and threw an interception to linebacker Junior Colson that was returned for a touchdown. Martinez did lead a lengthy 14-play, 74-yard touchdown drive later in the quarter and ran in a touchdown himself in the fourth quarter.
