Pickett led multiple scoring drives in the preseason game, including one in the second quarter where he made a nice throw to David Moore on a deep out (called back for holding) and connected with John Metchie III multiple times in the third quarter to move the Panthers into scoring range. He also threw a contested ball to Roc Taylor for a touchdown from the 16-yard line.
