Nix returns from ankle injury with efficient, smooth preseason performance; no restrictions ahead.

In his first game back after breaking his ankle in the AFC Divisional Playoff, Nix was efficient and smooth against Green Bay in preseason action. Sean Payton noted he was efficient against a different defense for the first time since injury, has been moving well at practice, and will have no restrictions going forward. Nix himself said it was 'very smooth, very easy to get back out there' and that physically it was 'pretty easy,' with the mental challenge being limited preparation time rather than any physical limitation.
