Hardman Jr. saw extra offensive reps due to receiver injuries but failed to capitalize on opportunities, dropping two passes on third downs that would have resulted in first-down yardage. While he had a solid kickoff return for 30 yards and made a first-down grab plus a nine-yard catch-and-run screen in the two-minute drill before halftime, he needs to show consistency as a wideout to make the team, especially with Ray Davis as the reigning All-Pro kickoff returner also looking to add punt-return duties. Hardman Jr. has the juice for multiple roles but consistency has been hard for him throughout his career.
