Quarterback Behren Morton took over the Patriots offense in the second half and led the game-winning drive in the fourth quarter, throwing two third-down conversions and a 37-yard touchdown pass to Nick DeGennaro down the right sideline to seal New England's 24-21 victory. Morton also threw a 24-yard completion to Tejhaun Palmer on third-and-long and connected with JaMycal Hasty on a nine-yard flat route.
