Rookie Nick DeGennaro from James Madison had a great night, catching four passes for 61 yards including a 37-yard game-winning touchdown when he got behind former Patriot Isaiah Bolden. Prunty notes that while DeGennaro likely won't make the active roster given the packed receiver room, his ability to work out of the slot and on the outside has likely secured him a practice squad spot. His performance suggests the Patriots may want to keep him around for development.
