Diggs' arrival limits Williams' slot role to ~40%, driving ECR fall (218→236).

Antonio Williams' ECR slip from 218 to 236 is directly caused by Stefon Diggs joining the Washington Commanders. There was glowing optimism that Williams would step into a major role in Week 1, but with Diggs now in town, Williams is likely out of most two-wide sets and may rotate on and off the field in three-receiver looks when the Commanders want Diggs or McLaurin in the slot. Diggs has played 50 percent or more of his snaps in the slot over the last two years, and McLaurin was in the slot for over 18 percent of his snaps last season. Williams could only have 40 percent of the slot snaps to work with and will have to compete with Jaylin Lane and Luke McCaffrey for snaps there. The source expects Williams to fall down the rankings further over the next two weeks.
