Washington should be selected a little earlier, given that he would have a clear advantage in the backfield. If the news comes out that Jeanty is going to be sidelined for the early part of the season, don't be surprised if Washington starts being drafted in the seventh or eighth round.

Positive signalValue

Washington's ADP should rise from 11th round given Jeanty injury; could reach rounds 7-8.

The fourth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft has an ADP of 128.2 (11th round in 12-team leagues) and should be selected earlier given Jeanty's ankle injury. Washington was already expected to be a solid handcuff, but now could be in line for a bigger workload. If Jeanty is sidelined for the early part of the season, Washington could start being drafted in the seventh or eighth round given the expectation of a high early-season workload. He tallied 1,070 rushing yards and 13 total scores in 12 games at Arkansas.
